Newlook Upholstery design, make and upholster custom headboards to any size, shape and specification. With over 45 years’ experience, our Welsh team create luxury headboards for homes, hotels and property developments, finished in your choice of fabric, leather or faux leather.
We regularly furnish developer show homes across South Wales, including Barratt Homes, and luxury London apartments, producing headboards and coordinated bedroom pieces to exacting specifications.
Sizes we make
2ft 6in small single, 3ft single, 4ft small double, 4ft 6in double, 5ft king, 6ft super king, 7ft oversize, and wall-to-wall feature headboards. All custom sizes available.
Mounting options
- Wall-mounted: fixed via brackets or battens for a seamless, hotel-style finish.
- Wood leg struts: fits directly to the divan base (recommended up to around 76cm high).
- Floor-standing: full-height panels that sit behind the bed and secure to the wall.
Fabrics, leathers and finishes
Choose from an extensive library of designer fabrics (plains, textures, florals, geometrics, tartans), premium leathers and durable faux leathers. We can work with any fabric you desire and we are happy to advise on suitability and care. Swatch samples are available on request.

Can you match a headboard to my existing bed or curtains?
Yes. Bring a swatch or a photo and we will match or coordinate the fabric, and we can produce matching valances, bedroom chairs and cushions.
Do you install?
Optional installation is available, and we can visit to measure and discuss designs in situ.
Do you supply hotels and developers?
We do, regularly, including show homes for national house builders and serviced apartments.
