Your data rights

GDPR requests.

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it erased where we no longer need it.

How to make a request

Write to our Data Protection Officer, Paul Ingram, by email at salesteam@newlookupholstery.com with the subject line “GDPR request”, or by post to Newlook Upholstery Ltd, 13–15 Raglan Road, Hengoed, Caerphilly CF82 7LY.

Tell us which of the following you are asking for, and include enough detail (your name, address, phone number or email as we would have recorded it) for us to find your records and confirm you are who you say you are.

  • Access: a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: deletion of your data where we have no legal or accounting reason to keep it.
  • Restriction or objection: to limit or stop particular processing, including marketing.

What happens next

We will acknowledge your request and respond within one month. There is normally no charge. If a request is complex we may extend by up to two further months and will tell you why. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and we will explain if that applies.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would welcome the chance to resolve any concern first.
